Dendrobates Quinquevittatus
Dendrobates quinquevittatus are found in Brazil, French Guyana and Peru. Despite their appearance, they are not members of the thumbnail group but are instead grouped with Dendrobates galactonotus and Dendrobates castaneoticus. Our quints as they are called come from Phil Tan and are F2 of his German line. The group of four is housed in a 37 gallon high vivarium and we are fortunate enough to have them breeding, although their breeding pattern appears to be somewhat seasonal.
